Herbicide Application

Our school will be applying herbicide to select outdoor areas on campus as part of our regular grounds maintenance. Applications are scheduled to occur between March 21 - 29 (during Spring Break). The herbicide being used is approved for use in school environments and will be applied according to all safety guidelines and label instructions.

Areas Being Treated:

  • Football Field

  • Practice Football Field

  • Baseball Field

  • Softball Field

  • Soccer Field

  • Non-athletic turf areas (around the administration building, main entrances, and elementary school entrance)

Precautions:

  • Treated areas should be avoided until fully dry

  • Applications are scheduled during Spring Break to limit exposure to students and staff
